Imam Hussein Media Group is a virtual university founded by a group of followers of the great Ayatollah Shirazi on the 3rd of Sha'ban 1430 AH (2009). This media group, transcending geographical, political, and cultural boundaries, is one of the largest independent Islamic Shia media outlets globally. Its goal is to revive the teachings of the Ahlul-Bayt and guide public opinion towards the genuine and correct culture of the Twelver Shia based on the Quran and the family of the Prophet.
The media group comprises five visual satellite channels in five languages: Arabic, Persian, English, Turkish, and Urdu. Additionally, it includes the Shia Waves news agency that broadcasts its programs around the clock through satellite and IP TV systems and mobile applications to viewers worldwide.
